This year, for Christmas lights viewing, we went with the Big Bus Tour. The only timing available to us is 830pm. Oh boy, it was late. By the time we got home, it was 11pm and they slept at 12am. The next day, Abby continued to whine after dinner. The sleep was insufficient for her. We will plan better the next year.

Due to Covid measures, we could not dine in. So we bought food from Gastronomia and ate at the Japanese War Memorial. We bought pizzas, a chicken panini and Mags had a pasta. It was decent. I told Mum that in future, we should pack from Ding Tai Feng. I think Asian food suits us better for now. After the alfresco dining, we walked back to Raffles City and had Godiva ice cream. Abby polished her off. Unfortunately, she tripped while scooping up the last bit of ice cream. Got a bruise on her elbow and a little scrape. But she says, she's happy to eat.

Bus tour was breezy, but it tire Box out. In the video, he was about to doze off in another 10 minutes or so.

Box is starting to handle the Woom 3 really well so a trip to Sunset to hone his bike skills is necessary. It was all good. He handled the bike pretty well. We didn't have anything at Baker & Cook. We didn't have ice cream. That is because we were heading to The Bug Bus Tour the next day and we'll be having pizza and ice cream then. they took it in their stride and it was a good day. Until it rained big time at 715pm.

But Mum being Mum, she encouraged all to have fun in the rain. They cycled, no one fell except for Fei towards the end under the void deck of a flat. But all was good. No scrapes, no bruises. All continued to cycle and made merry in the downpour.

We finally Luge at Sentosa. Our first try was in Rotorua in 2019 and unbelievably, we did not visit Sentosa Luge till this day. It costs SGD 5.60 approximately per Ride per person. I didn’t think it was expensive. It remains good fun. Fei didn’t want to go on his own, Abby didn’t meet the height requirement. Mum and I took turns to go with Box. Abby went with Mags on a couple of rides so did Fei. I took Fei only on 1 ride.

Dinner was at The Coastes. Food was so so, nothing to shout about. The kids sat with Mags because of Covid measures. They had pizza. Mum and I had a seafood platter and crab risotto. It was thumbs down for the food.

We will be back definitely.…for the Luge, not the food.
