It's an old observatory, no facilities to boast about. The only thing is the view and the brrrr....wind. The drive up was splendid. We drove past people's houses, got to see the residential properties, I like that. Probably just JHB and myself.
This observatory doesn't get much visitors. The parking lots at the peak was limited and there were spare capacity. The kids had fun looking through the binoculars, walking around in the gusty winds. Box just started crawling so again, we've Mum bending at all times to manage him.
I love being on top of the world, looking down. Different countries, different feel.
We chanced upon this restaurant during our drive back to the city. It has Teppanyaki and who can resist BBQ? We had our little BBQ room, privacy....what more can I ask for?
