Jonker Street has to be experienced both day and night. So we did a walk after lunch. We walked around and Mags bought a T-shirt but we were interrupted abruptly by the heavy downpour. We stayed at a cafe called The Stolen Cup for coffee and tea, played crosswords on her phone.
I tried Piccolo Latte which wasn't to my liking. I need my milk forth so I'm sticking to my Cappuccino. Arh b wouldn't like it too because it way too strong. She needs her latte regular, more milk.
Because of the rain, I bought an umbrella for RM 39. It's pricey, considering the quality but it's Jonker Street. Gotta have the head chopped.
The rain stopped at about 545pm, the stalls starting setting up and we continued our tour of the place. I let Mags try carrot cake. It's was....ok. No repeat of it.
We walked the river route back to the hotel. Took some photos of HRC. Chanced upon zhi char place near our hotel. Tables are setup at back alleys and drains...not exactly our cup of tea so we carried on our journey. But we stopped to get CKT, seeing the queue. It was ok. It was Mags first time eating it.
