This is a newly opened nature Playgarden and it's simply great. I had flashbacks to Margaret River. The kids to some mini nature trails, saw toadstools growing out of logs, played around within the natural habitat. Like the blog post title suggests, being biophilic is to interact intimately with nature and this was what the kids did.
Within the bushes and shrubs, there were rhymes, swings and modern playgrounds. We didn't visit the playgrounds but will definitely return for them. Yes, not just 1 but several.
We took the bee trail and spotted big red ants amongst the flowers / fruits. I supposed it's part of the pollination process?
They played around for about an hour around the pebble area, doing sand pit stuff. It was a good change of environment. Got their shoes covered with mud but all were very cooperative in washing shoes when we got home.
Thumbs up to the National Park for doing this up. I hope to make this visits very regular.
