I beat her because she followed Slug in climbing the ledge off the stairs. I warned all 3 of the consequences of climbing and Abby continued. It all started with Slug but the beating served as a lesson to all. The clothes hangar broke and it cut Abbs on her little pinkie. My poor Abbs, suffering on Slug's account.
